I guess it has. July since I last posted.
Sorry about that. But a lot's been happening. Let's see...
...I ran for SAG board and came up 400 votes or so short (out of 24,000 or so cast).
...I attended my first SAG Board meeting, and after watching Alan Rosenberg pace around the room like a tranq'd tiger, doing his best to aid Ann Marie Johnson in derailing any plans my faction (Unite4Strength) had to move toward merger, I thanked the stars I came up 400 votes or so short. I don't want to be in that dysfunctional room.
...I was nominated for, and unanimously voted on as the new SAG National Chairman for their New Technologies committee. I'm also serving on the VO committee.
...I got to work on Heroes again this season, 5 episodes that I was truly not expecting. Total of 13 between season 3 and 4, and stage direction in the final episode of the season that read something like "Doyle must be shown to be very much alive." I love that, and hope that NBC brings us back for another season.
...I joined a very select group of actors that have also worked on LOST - a nice little two episode run that was really too much fun. Although I shot in Hawaii twice, we had to do some pickups at ABC n Burbank, and I got to jawjack with Sally Fields in the makeup chair next to me. A lovely morning.
...I developed an iPhone app along with game coder Brian Robbins called Rehearsal. It's for actors to learn lines and rehearse their scenes. My dirty little secret? I hope it makes me some money, but as long as I can use it for my work, I'm a happy guy. And when I see that some actor in Poland just bought unlimited use of Rehearsal for the next month for $20 and a few other actors bought the use of it for their next audition, I'm thinking it just might catch on. It's been downloaded around 100,000 times since it was released.
...I booked my first major feature film. It stars Frankie Muniz (Malcolm of Malcolm in the Middle), and I'm opposite him as the cop that's tracking him/protecting him in a romp called Pizza Man. I should have some interesting Twitter and FBook updates from the set.
...I finally started listening to my workshop students and demo/home studio clients and started teaching weekly classes in all aspects of VO, every Sunday at Actor's Key in Burbank. I'm probably going to develop the series of classes into an online course, and also record them for a DVD.
...I booked The Hollywood Show in Burbank on the 25th and 26th of April. I will be spending most of my time ogling the real celebrities that I'll be sharing autograph space with.
...I'll be at DragonCon over Labor Day in the signing gallery. I still marvel at how I can spend my weekends meeting fans and signing autographs and love, love, love it. I'm trying to set up a 3 day acting/VO seminar in the Atlanta area the week prior, and I'll let you know about that as it comes together.
So, a lot going on and I am sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I really will try harder not to take this much time away in the future. Really.
This is a scam!!!!! You don't contact me when I tell you something is wrong with my program. I can't get in touch with you. free scripts that's a joke. Do I like writing blogs like this no! But no one will get in touch with me and that makes me think this App is a scam. Writing a blog is the onlyway to talk to anyone!

Um, if you're referring to Rehearsal, then I'm afraid you've been sending your complaints to someone other than me.
If you can clarify what you mean by "free scripts", I'd be more than happy to help you - but if you mean what I think you mean, I'm afraid you might be disappointed by the answer.
If you expected that Rehearsal would be a source of free scripts, then you didn't read the description very carefully, if at all. Rehearsal is a professional tool for professional actors, not a way to write or download scripts.
(if you're not referring to Rehearsal, I have no idea what you're talking about.)
