It's the audience, stupid

You hear a lot of people these days commenting on the economy. And some are using the economy to reason against voting to authorize the Screen Actors' Guild to strike. That's easy, but short sighted.

It's not that we shouldn't vote against authorization - it's just not the right reason.

No minority report - sad, SAG

Clearly, the Screen Actors' Guild is a dysfunctional organization, bitterly divided between members in favor of striking, and members against a strike. SAG's leadership is, unfortunately, playing unilateral brinksmanship rather than shepherding the discussion.

I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately, and I've been thinking about how to answer it.

Prepping for a night shoot

Next week, I'll be continuing the shoot of a couple of episodes on Heroes with a night shoot. Fellow Heroes heroes Greg and Hayden have it down, but this will be another first for me.
