So, Bonnie Gillespie calls me out of the blue (I was on the air when she called), and asks if I want to be in a mockumentary opposite Bob Clendenin.
Uh, yeah!
We play scary movers that move the loser of a political struggle out of town.
He's amazing - and I love the fact that I didn't have to audition for it. She'd seen me for another feature she was casting, and loved what I did for that, so here we are.
And Katrina Law is in it - she's also a Howard Fine student, who I've done scene work with, and is really smart about her work. We probably won't see each other on the set, but it's cool - we'll see each other at Sundance when we win the prize. :)
If you want to see the whole cast and links to what they've done, you can go to http://cricketfeet.com/newtomorrow.html and check out the coolness.
Shooting end of July, beginning of August.
Congratulations, sweetheart. You rocked the house in the audition for the silly short and that's enough to make me remember you when it's time to cast dayplayer on a feature film. Quality situation! Congrats! And thanks for saying YES!!

OK...I just wanted to be sure that the trackback wasn't like a comment on me being a narcissist, what with the graphic and all in your blog entry...I really was floored to get a call from you. Looking forward to it!

Nah... graphics in my blogs are almost always random and silly. ;) Just part of making the visits there a little more visually appealing. ;)
Loved that you blogged about the call. It's the little things, really!
Keith says this film will be the next "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," where, five years later, everyone says, "How did she get all of those freakin' amazing actors in one movie?" And that's when I get to sit back and say, "Well, I'm brilliant, y'know?"
Heck. Whatever happens, just thank me when you win your Oscar.
And yes, we'll have a blast at Sundance. No doubt! ;)
